From 2 to 5 April 2025, Luís ALVEIS, Head of Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Juventude/Desporto e Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade, carried out an official mission to Ukraine as part of the launch of Lviv – European Youth Capital 2025. The National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine coordinated the visit preparation in close cooperation with the Ministry of Youth and Sport of Ukraine and the Bureau for European Integration of Lviv City Council.

On 4 April 2025, Heads of Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Juventude/Desporto e Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade and the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation in Lviv. This document strengthens collaboration within the EU’s Erasmus+ Programme in the fields of education, youth, and sport. It also supports partnership-building between Ukrainian and Portuguese organisations and contributes to Ukraine’s European integration and recovery process.

​On 4 April 2025, Luís ALVEIS, Head of Agência Nacional Erasmus+ Juventude/Desporto e Corpo Europeu de Solidariedade, Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, and Kateryna ZHDANOVA, Senior Manager and Coordinator for youth and sport actions of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine, carried out a series of institutional visits in Lviv. With support of Bureau for European Integration of Lviv City Council, the delegation visited key educational and youth institutions, including Urban Camp, National Rehabilitation Centre UNBROKEN, Interregional Vocational School of Automotive Transport and Construction, and Ivan Franko National University of Lviv.
