On 6 December 2024, the team of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine participated in the meeting on cooperation between SALTO Eastern Europe & Caucasus and the National Erasmus+ Offices of the Eastern Partnership countries.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office – Ukraine during the meeting focused on the role and mandates of the National Erasmus+ Offices and Info Centers, with a particular emphasis on the youth sector, as well as opportunities to strengthen cooperation under the Erasmus+ Programme.

Objectives of the meeting:

• Exchanging on the mandates and role of the Info Centers and the National Erasmus+ Offices, with a special focus on the youth sector;
• Sharing updates on Erasmus+ promotional activities within the youth field for 2024 and plans for 2025;
• Exploring potential synergies and future opportunities for cooperation in the youth field.

Agenda:

• Tour de table: Sharing background and experience in NEOs and Info Centers;
• Overview of NEO mandate: A brief presentation of the official tasks of NEOs, with a special focus on the youth sector;
• Overview of Info Centers: A short presentation of the role and tasks of Info Centers;
• Sharing experiences: Discussing cooperation between NEOs and Info Centers;
• Exploring future synergies: Identifying potential opportunities for future collaboration.

The meeting served as a valuable platform for experience-sharing, fostering dialogue, and identifying future opportunities for collaboration in the youth sector.
