Within European Year of Skills 2023 on 20 December 2023 National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine with the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, Office Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration, Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine, National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, National Qualifications Agency, Info Centre for Erasmus+ Youth and European Solidarity Corps in Ukraine and other partners held Erasmus+ InfoDay: Education. More than 190 participants from different regions of Ukraine joined the event: representatives of school, vocational education and training, higher education and adult education and organisations planning to participate in EU Erasmus+ Programme Calls in the field of education.
Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, during the first session on school education presented the key opportunities of the Erasmus+ on mobility, cooperation projects and Jean Monnet actions. Speaker highlighted in detail key features of cooperation for schools, potential synergies with VET and higher education institutions. Veronika TKACHENKO, Manager of National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, presented opportunities in the field of vocational education and training, focusing on mobility opportunities and cooperation projects. Speaker emphasised the key features and objectives of the actions, requirements for partnerships, key activities, potential cooperation with other educational institutions and inter-project synergies. The next part of the event was dedicated to opportunities in higher education: mobility opportunities, virtual exchanges and cooperation projects, Erasmus Mundus. Svitlana SHYTIKOVA and Kateryna ZHDANOVA presented actions and call 2024 innovations, technical requirements, evaluation criteria for applications, and highlighted the key priorities of the programme, which are the cross-cutting principles of the projects. After the break, participants joined a presentation on European Studies by Petro KRAINIK, Manager of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, who presented the opportunities of the Jean Monnet Actionin detail. Speaker presented Jean Monnet Modules, Chairs, Centres of Excellence, and Networks, actions goals, requirements, deadlines, and design features. In particular, speaker also provided practical advice on how to find a programme call and fill in the application forms. During the last session, Veronika TKACHENKO with Svitlana SHYTIKOVA highlighted opportunities in higher education and adult education: Cooperation projects, Alliances for Innovation, Alliances of European Universities. Speakers stressed additional opportunities in these actions and shared successful experience of Ukrainian organisations in such alliances. At the end of the event, the speakers provided clear recommendations on the first steps of participation and successful submission of project applications for participation in calls. |
