On 11 March 2026, the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine team held a webinar for newcomer organisations in the fields of education, training, youth and sport titled “First Steps in Applying for EUs Erasmus+ Programme Calls: PIC&OID Registration“. The event was organised by the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine with the support of the Delegation of the European Union to Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine.

The event brought together 100 participants via Zoom and 358 viewers via YouTube livestream. These participants represented newcomer organisations from the public, private, and civil society sectors interested in Erasmus+ opportunities in the fields of education, training, youth, and sport, but have never previously submitted applications for the Programme’s calls.

During the session, a clear step-by-step guide was provided regarding the first and mandatory stage of participation in Erasmus+ calls; specifically, the process of PIC and OID codes registration on the Programme’s key portals was presented in details. The practical block of the webinar was dedicated to the real-time registration process, presenting the profile completion algorithm and addressing various aspects of how to avoid the typical mistakes most commonly made by newcomer organisations.
