Experience in purchasing equipment (25.02.21)

On February 25, 2021, as part of a series of webinars for the executors of EU Erasmus+ projects, a Zoom-webinar on the exchange of experience in purchasing equipment within the implementation of EU Erasmus+ projects was held. More than 65 participants of project executors (coordinators, managers and financial and economic departments) of the winners of the 2019 and 2020 competitions from Ukrainian universities joined the online meeting.

Belen ENCISO, Project Manager from the Education, Audiovisual and Culture Executive Agency (Brussels), drew the participants' attention to the rules of the EU Erasmus+ Program for the purchase of equipment. She shared examples of successful and unsuccessful practices based on project reporting and provided recommendations for procurement.

Svitlana SHYTIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office — Ukraine (EU project) acquainted with the legal framework for the purchase of equipment, drew attention to the specifics of projects registered as international technical assistance and the importance of fair and efficient use of EU funds.

Maryana BABYCH, Leading Specialist of the International Relations Department, Lviv State University of Physical Culture, Assistant Project Coordinator, CBHE REHAB project "Innovative Rehabilitation Education — Introduction of New Master's Degrees in Ukraine" Yevhen Tsymbalenko, Deputy Director of the Institute of Journalism, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, responsible for purchasing equipment for Ukrainian partners of the CBHE DESTIN project "Journalism Education for Democracy in Ukraine: Development of Standards, Integrity and Professionalism". The speakers were also joined by partners of the CBHE UKROTHE project "Development of an Occupational Educational Education Program in Ukraine" - Lydia ROMANYK, project manager and Oksana STETSYUTSYAK, chief accountant of Drohobych Ivan Franko State Pedagogical University, and Lyubov ZINYUK, Education Coordinator use of innovative teaching tools ”, Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University.

At the end of the webinar, all participants had the opportunity to discuss important issues, challenges and share experiences in purchasing equipment within the framework of international technical assistance projects. Such webinars serve to develop the capacity of higher education institutions for the effective implementation of EU Erasmus+ projects in Ukraine.
