On March 2, 2020, the inaugural conference of the UaReNet Foreign Educational Qualifications Recognition Network was held in Kyiv.

The event was organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the National Information Center of Academic Mobility of ENIC Ukraine (SE “Information and Image Center”).

Representatives of 85 higher education institutions of Ukraine, which were the first to decide to join the network, representatives of the European Commission, the Executive Agency for Education, Audiovisual and Culture (EACEA), the European Register of Quality Assurance (EQAR), the European Student Council (ESU), The ENIC-NARIC Ministries and National Academic Mobility Information Centers of the EHEA countries have joined the event.

The Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Yegor STADNY and the Director of the National Information Center of the Academic Mobility of ENIC Ukraine Victoria Sergienko addressed the participants of the conference.

The speakers of the event were: Natalia STUKALO, Deputy Chairman of the National Agency for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, Yaroslav BOLUBASH, responsible secretary of the Union of Rectors of Higher Educational Institutions of Ukraine, Svitlana SHITIKOVA, Coordinator of the National Erasmus+ Office in Ukraine, Yenneke Vitek of the ENIC-NARIC Academic Mobility Centers, Colin TUK, Director of the European Register of Quality Assurance for Education (EQAR), and Allan Bruun PEDERSEN, Senior Advisor to the National Agency for Pit of Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Higher Education and Science of Denmark (ENIC-NARIC).
